Blackwell, The Arts & Crafts House, Bowness-on-Windermere We helped the Lakeland Arts Trust to raise £750,000 to purchase Blackwell, thus providing the partnership funding for a National Lottery Heritage grant of £2.25million. We have since been involved in several other projects including the establishment of a Friends' scheme, Patrons' scheme and trust applications. Blackpool Grand Theatre, Lancashire We have worked with the Grand on several capital appeals starting in the Theatre's Centenary Year of 1994. Bolton Hospital NHS Trust, Greater Manchester ‘PFC devised the fundraising strategy for our successful £1million appeal and then guided us through its implementation. Bolton Lads’ & Girls’ Club, Greater Manchester We prepared a successful Sport England Lottery bid for £3.7million to build a new Club for this 100-year old youth club. We also managed the successful fundraising appeal to raise the £500,000 partnership funding required to match the bid ‘The bid put together by PFC to the Lottery Sports Fund for £3.7 million has been acknowledge by the Lottery Sports Fund to be one of the most professional and well put together applications they have seen. Bacup & Rawtenstall Grammar School, Lancashire We developed a fundraising strategy for a capital fundraising campaign to finance a sports hall. We then helped to appoint a new Development Director to implement the strategy which reached its £1million target and there is now a thriving long-term fundraising programme in place.
Claremont Fan Court School, Esher, Surrey A successful £1million appeal for a new Sports Hall was based on a comprehensive strategy that we provided. Holly Bank Trust, Halifax, Yorkshire This is a residential school for children with severe physical and learning difficulties. We devised a fundraising strategy, made applications to trusts, devised a legacy leaflet and then helped them to recruit and train a new Fundraising Manager. We provide ongoing advice and support to the fundraising team when required.
Lancaster Royal Grammar School, Lancashire We created a feasibility study into the school’s fundraising potential over the next few years. We have done similar projects for many schools.
Stockport Grammar School , Greater Manchester We created a fundraising strategy and then trained the existing Marketing Director to implement this strategy for the first year. Youth Hostel Association (YHA), Edale, Derbyshire We were asked to raise money from trusts for the expansion of the YHA’s Edale Activity Centre in the Peak District and £250,000 was achieved within a short timescale. The project is now completed. ‘PFC helped us to make trust applications and organised a major donor recruitment drive for the YHA Edale Activity Centre. We now have an entirely new wing with excellent guest facilities, a new conference centre and workroom.
